My apologies to Muse Watson

You are not going to believe some of the crap that I have been reading on various boards.  There seems to be a growing consensus among the uninformed that Muse Watson is dying himself.  They are making these huge (and may I add stupid) ass assumptions that because the character Mike Franks was looking ill that he too had the disease (some of us are guessing emphazima or Cancer).  There were some of us who have brains and know better explained what was going on.

The news about Jesse Stern was met with mixed reactions.  Some were really rude and tacky and I found myself jumping in and getting really stupid.

OH and of course Swan Song got mixed reviews there was one person who just was stupid kept posting they were no longer watching NCIS and going to convince their friends not to anymore.  They posted it two different threads.  I finally had enough and replied "we get it".  You don't like it".  I really wish that people who say they won't be watching the show anymore would just do that and go away.  There are several mb's I refuse to go to for shows I don't like.  I don't waste my bleeping time.  When things changed in the Hercules/Andromeda/Kevin Sorbo fandom changed for me I stopped posting and reading the message boards.  I moved on.

OH and for some reason some picked up on the fact that Mark Harmon wasn't wearing his wedding band at an interview he did and that he didn't really talk about his marriage and made another huge ass assumption that there were problems...

Hey, I was wondering if you'd mind me posting a question to you about the NCIS episode "Swan Song"?

Okay, well, it pertains to Mike Franks being killed...

Now, my parents theorized that the actor was perhaps sick and asked if he could be written out of the show. This wasn't because of the character coughing and presumably ill, but Muse Watson is 68.

I first thought maybe the actor was thinking of retiring, but when checking his filmography (if it is updated correctly), he's still working.

So, has there been any reason released either by the executive staff or Watson himself about the decision to kill Franks?

I agree what you said about a few "fans" ruining it for people on message boards and forums. It's because of people like that, I refuse to go to any message boards anymore.

P.S. I'm sorry both Watson and Stern are gone. =(

Muse Watson is fine
I don't believe Muse Watson is sick or dying. Just like I said in my original post. I follow him on Facebook and Twitter and he has been very busy. I believe he is currently on stage in a dinner theater production. He would mention his health in posts. As a matter of fact he even posted that he is fine. IF you see my post about clearing the air.

Well I like having him but as many of us who like him being there there are equal factions who think he brings the worst out of Gibbs. The way the current story line is going it seems to be that MIke Franks used GIbbs and his grief for his own personal gain.
